Blanche Davidson Sechler

Obituary: Blanche Davidson Sechler, 88, of Kannapolis, NC died at Best of Care Nursing Home in Kannapolis on January 17, 2016 surrounded by her family. Blanche was born on December 1, 1927 in Alexander Co., NC, the daughter of the late Roby Davidson and the late Rosa Deal Davidson. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Clauzell Sechler who passed away in 2015 and seven brothers and sisters. Blanche was a member of Genesis Baptist Church Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Martin (Tony) of Kannapolis; two sons, Jeff Sechler (Terri) and Tim Sechler (Luanne) both of Kannapolis; five grandchildren; Scott Martin, Brad Martin, Angie Kozyra, Alisha Holt and Lauren Naylor; nine great-grandchildren, Calin Martin, Colby Martin, Tyler Hendley, Jayden Hendley, Landon holt, Rex Naylor, Preston Holt, Paxton Kozyra and Callie Naylor and one great-greatgrandchild, Lily Martin. She is also survived by a sister, Alma Wike and a brother, Witson Davidson (Phyllis). The service for Mrs. Sechler will take place at 2:00 Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Gene Edwards. Burial will take place at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 p.m., before the service. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the owner and staff of Best of Care for the love and kindness offered to our mother but also to our family during this difficult time.
