Obituary: Bobbie Waldrup Goins, 77, of Concord passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at her home. She was born February 15, 1937 in Hollywood, Georgia, the daughter of the late Willie J. Waldrup and Annie Lee Ivester Wilson. She retired from Burlington Industries. She was a member of Trinity Church of the Nazarene in Charlotte. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Mike Barefield. A graveside service will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Mint Hill at 1:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Thursday at Whitley's. She is survived by five children, Marcia Turner, Bill Goins, Jim Goins, Ronnie Goins and Buck Goins all of the home, 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
