Bobbie A Gulledge

Obituary: Bobbie A. Gulledge, age 79, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2013 at Tucker Hospice House, Kannapolis, NC after many months of declining health. She was born November 21, 1933 in Chesterfield County, SC, the daughter of the late John Gibson and Bertha Kirkley Gibson. She married her husband, Bobby J. Gulledge on June 27, 1952. She and her husband moved to Kannapolis in 1957. In earlier years she worked many small jobs and later helped her husband with his former automotive garage business, Automart Garage, Kannapolis. Her family fondly remembers her love of cooking for her family. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by many brothers and sisters. The funeral service will be held at 2:30 P.M. Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel, Kannapolis, NC officiated by Rev. Sam Crisp. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, NC. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:30 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service. Survivors in addition to her husband include her children, Brenda Henley & husband, Phillip of Kannapolis, NC and Crystal Dunn of China Grove, NC; grandchildren, Jarrel Henley and Haven Moore; great-grandchild, Seth Purser; two sisters, Betty Sellers of Cheraw, SC and Gail Cassidy of Chesterfield, SC; and two brothers, Robert Gibson of Spartanburg, SC and Jimmy Gibson of Chesterfield, SC.

Service: 2:30 PM, Sunday November 10, 2013 Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment: Carolina Memorial Park.
