Bobbie Stikeleather

Obituary: Bobbie Lee Chewning Stikeleather, 80, of Concord passed away on June 1, 2017 at her home. She was born February 25, 1937 in Cabarrus County, a daughter of the late George Tom Chewning and Lundy Harwood Chewning. She was preceded in death by her husband, Newton Stikeleather and a brother, George Preston Chewning. She had formerly worked at Hoechst Celanese for many years. She enjoyed traveling with her friends. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Pastor Shane Roberts. She is survived by her son, Anthony Ray Souther of Germany, brother, James Chewning (Sadie) of Landis, sister, Sue Wilson (Hank) of Charleston, SC, several nieces and nephews, a special friend, Susan Maroccia and her children, Nicholas and Greta.
