Bobby Wilson Anderson

Bobby W. Anderson, 96 of Kannapolis, passed away, Friday, February 26, 2021 at Novant Health Mint Hill, he had been in declining health the last month.
He was born October 28, 1924 in Cabarrus Co. to the late William Thomas Anderson and Lillian Earnhardt Anderson.
Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. After his enlistment he went to work as a civilian for the U.S. Navy in Bethesda, MD as an electrician. He retired from the Navy in 1986 and moved back to Kannapolis, Bob was a member of the Kannapolis V.F.W. he enjoyed fishing, boating, and golf, his dogs were his life, after his wife Wilma's passing in 2006.
He was preceded in death by his wife Wilma Anderson in 2006 and 11 brothers and sisters.
Those left to cherish his memory his nephew and caretaker Barry Anderson and his wife Leann and many nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Thursday March 4 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel, burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park with military honors.
Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Whitley's Funeral Home.
