Obituary: Bobby Caudill, 82, of Concord passed away Monday, January 29, 2018 at his home surrounded by his children. He was born November 21, 1935 in Ashe County, a son of the late Jerry Jackson Caudill and Ozie Belle Bare Caudill. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Iris Thomas Caudill, son, Michael Caudill, deceased siblings, Harold Caudill, Edith Caudill, Louise Caudill, Elsie Halsey, Lena Hunter, Mary Dell Coley, Herman Caudill, Ruby Yow and Pauline Culver. Bobby was owner-operator of McGill Avenue Garage for many years. He was a loving father and grandfather. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends prior from 11:00 to 1:00 at Whitley's. Bobby is survived by 4 children, David Caudill (Jill) , Wanda Caudill, Lori Parker (Tommy), Penny Stapf (Bobby), 5 grandchildren, Kristy Troxler (John), Megan Parker, Logan Stapf, Jordan Stapf, Amanda Wingate (Kevin), 4 great grandchildren, Chandler Almond, Mason Troxler, Kinsley Wingate, Addilyn Wingate, 5 siblings, Howard Caudill (Carolyn), Edie Caudill Ragan, Thomasine Caudill Allman (Sam), Bonnie Caudill Allman and Vernon Caudill (Betty).
