Obituary: Kannapolis, NC - Bobby Christopher Dease, 42, of 2420 Kirsten Lane, died WednesdayApril 8, 2009, at Duke University Medical Center, Durham. He had been in declining health for 15 months. He was born May 5, 1966 in Kershaw County, S.C. son of Bobby Joe Dease of Kannapolis and Edna Humphries Dease of Landis. He was educated at A.L. Brown High School and Rowan Cabarrus Community College. He was formerly employed at Lockheed-Martin in the computer department and was employed by Pillowtex-Cannon Plant #1 as a supervisor in the sheet shipping dept. until his retirement due to disability. He was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. In addition to his parents he is survived by his son, Jason Scott Dease and girlfriend Brittani Ann Hickey of Kannapolis, Brother: Jason Chad Dease of Landis, Step Mother: Sharon Diane Dease and Step Brother Lonnie Page Pless both of Kannapolis. He is also survived by his Paternal Grandparents Luke Samuel and Thelma Louise Dease of Landis. He is also survived by his canine companion Blaze. A Sister, Kimberly Diane Dease preceded him in death in 1976. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 P.M .Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Lane Street Church of God conducted by Rev. James Douglas Humphries and Rev. Wade Easom. The family will receive friends at the church 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. prior to services. At other times the family will be at the residence.
