Bobby "Bob" Rufus Eudy, 82, of Davidson, passed away on November 12, 2021 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Medical Center.
Bob was born on November 19, 1938, in Rowan County, a son of the late ¬Winifred Lemuel Eudy and Jeannie Snyder Eudy. In addition to his parents Bob was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia Pless Eudy; brother Jimmy Clifton Eudy; and grandson, David Brown, Jr.
Bob was a graduate of A. L. Brown High School and honorably served in the United States Air Force. He was a lifelong area resident and long-time member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church. He loved his church and was very active within it. Bob loved geology and would cut jewels and polish stones. He was very creative and enjoyed carving wood sculptures. Bob was extremely musically talented and could play numerous instruments, but his favorite was his harmonica. He also enjoyed singing and was a member in the Piedmont Singing Men. He was a talented person, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Ann Brantley Eudy; son, Derek Alan Eudy (Lana); daughter, Daphne Eudy Pittman (Benny); sister Bonny Dixon of Kannapolis, step son, Bruce Meadows; step daughters, Mechele Kennerly, Sherry Meadows and Beverly Craig; grandchildren, Hannah Eudy, Joshua Eudy, Trey Pueschel, Nicholas Pueschel, Brandy Brown, April Brown and Eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Mr. Eudy will be held Thursday November 18, 2021 at 2 PM at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church. Entombment to follow at Carolina Memorial Park Mausoleum.
