Bobby Charles Haley

Obituary: Bobby Charles Haley, 53, of 5754 Nubbin Creek Road, Lenior, NC and formerly of Kannapolis died at Caldwell Memorial Hospital in Lenior on Saturday, September 21, 2013. Mr. Haley was born in Cabarrus County, NC on September 28, 1959, the son of Irma Lunsford Haley Whitt of Carolina Beach, NC and the late Charles Wesley Haley, Jr. He was a graduate of N.W. Cabarrus High School and was a general contractor building log homes, previously in Boone, NC with Bear Rock Log Homes and currently as the owner and operator with Bear Rock Outpost on 321 in Lenior. In addition to his mother, survivors include his son, Wesley Vernon Haley; a grandson, Payton Charles Haley and his fiance' Gwen Howard. The funeral service for Mr. Haley will take place at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, Sep. 24th at Whitley's Funeral Home conducted by Billy Mauldin Chaplin with Motor Racing Outreach and by Dr. Jim Herchenhahn of Wilmington, NC.
