Bobby Gene Kelly

Bobby Gene Kelly, 78, of Denver, NC, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021. He was a Christian who was a member of his church's praise and worship team, a Marine who served combat in Vietnam, and a person who deeply loved his country.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, John and Lucille Kelly, and his sister, Judy Brown.
He is survived by one sister, two brothers, five daughters, numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, and his beloved Wesleyan Church family.
His funeral will be held at Whitley's Funeral Home in Kannapolis, NC with Pastor John Houser officiating.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, November 19, 2021 with service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove, NC with military honors.
