Obituary: Bobby Gene Stallings, 59, died Sunday, August 5, 2012 at his residence. Bobby was born January 6, 1953 in Cabarrus County to the late Roy Lee Robert Stallings, Sr. and Elsie Whitley Stallings. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Lois Stallings of the home; four daughters, Lisa Graham of Kannapolis, Julie Hunter of Kannapolis, Janet Saunders of Concord and Terri Kimsey of Locust; three grandchildren, Amber Graham, Brittany Graham, and Jasmine Graham; three brothers, Maven Stallings, R. L. Stallings, and Ricky Stallings; and five sisters, Betty Wallace, Cathy Hudson, Linda Casper, Kay Sells, and Nancy Huneycutt. A funeral service will be held 5:00 P.M. Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Friendship Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Marler Starnes officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends 6-8 P.M. Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Whitley's Funeral Home.
