Bobby Wayne Stirewalt, Sr.

Bobby Wayne Stirewalt, Sr., 64, of Kannapolis died Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at Atrium Health Cabarrus after a period of declining health.

A funeral service to celebrate Bobby’s Life will be held at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM Saturday June 1, 2024, with Liz Fisher officiating. His family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.

Bobby was born November 19, 1959, in Cabarrus Co., a son of the late Clyde Monroe Stirewalt, Sr. and Charlene Cook Stirewalt of Kannapolis. In addition to his father, Bobby was preceded in death by his sister, Connie Dean Stirewalt.

A lifelong area resident, Bobby drove a truck for many years as an independent driver of his own truck. Bobby was of the Baptist faith Bobby was a loving and devoted son, father, grandfather and brother. He will be deeply missed.

Bobby was survived by his mother, Charlene Cook Stirewalt, his son, Bobby Stirewalt, Jr. (Tabatha) and his sister, Lisa Stirewalt (Josè), all of Kannapolis and a brother Clyde Stirewalt, Jr. (Becky) of California. He is also survived by five beloved grandchildren: Joseph, Brandon, Azilyn, Emmalyn and Wyatt.
