Bonnie Lynn (Ritchie) Barrett

Bonnie Ritchie Barrett, 68, of Harrisburg, passed away Friday, August 13, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus.
She was born August 16, 1952 in Rowan County to the late Thomas Vestal Ritchie and Margie Pauline Doolittle Ritchie.
Bonnie worked 30 plus years with Duke Power as a dispatcher until her retirement. She loved her cats and took care of as many as she could. Bonnie enjoyed history and genealogy, and loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Barrett in 2020, and a brother Jackie Fowler.
Those left to cherish her memory, sons; Steven Scott Edgison (Marcy) of Concord, Marty Alan Barrett; daughter, Amanda Leigh Barrett of Concord; grandson, Jonathan Young; and sisters, Lori Ann Ritchie and Robin Ritchie Grenzinger.
A memorial service will be held for Bonnie and John Barrett, at 4:00 PM Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Bob Lovett officiating. The family will see friends after the service.
