Bonnie Ketner

Obituary: Bonnie Beatrice Beck Ketner, 95, of Kannapolis passed away, Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Tucker Hospice House. She was born June 13, 1923 in Salisbury to the late Albert Beck and Annie Hopkins Beck. Bonnie graduated from Cannon High School in 1941. She worked for Cannon Mills for 41 years until her retirement. Bonnie enjoyed working in the yard and tending to her flowers and planting over 30 dogwood trees during her active years. She was an active member of New Hope Lutheran Church. Mrs. Ketner was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother; she will be dearly missed by her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Elmer Ketner, her sisters; Virginia Cloer, Geraldine Carter, and Helen Brown. Those left to cherish her memory, her daughter Bonita Webster and her grandson, Brett Webster both of Raleigh, six nephews and nine nieces also survive. Visitation will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 AM Monday, June 25, 2018 at Whitley's Funeral Home. A private graveside will then be held with Student Pastor Buster Bennet officiating.
