Boyce Pressley Freeze

Obituary: Boyce Pressley Freeze, age 80, of 385 Upright Ave. died Monday April 26, 2010 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday April 28 at Concordia Lutheran Church in China Grove with Rev. Ken Reed and Rev. Larry Bost officiating. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday at Whitley's Funeral Home in Kannapolis, at other times they will be at the family residence. Boyce was born December 16, 1929 in Rowan Co., the son of the late Lonnie and Annie Loftin Freeze. He was a life long area resident and a veteran of the US Army, serving during WWII. He worked as a self employed contractor building many local homes including his own. He retired in 1992. Boyce was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church and was active in the Young Men's Sunday School class and he was a member of the Enochville Lions Club. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Johnny Freeze and his daughter, Susan Daniels. Boyce is survived by his wife, Frankie Shinn Freeze of the home, 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 6-8:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 27th at Whitley's Funeral Home.

Service: 3 P.M. Wednesday, April 28th at Concordia Lutheran Church.
