Obituary: Boyd Ray Ewing, 62 of Kannapolis, NC died unexpectedly at CMC-NorthEast in Concord, NC. Boyd was born on April 11, 1956 in Iredell County, NC son of the late Kenneth Leroy Wilcox and the late France Jean Tillery Grimes. He is preceded in death by his wife Linda Medlin Ewing, one brother Tony Grimes and a sister, Gerri Ann Ewing Gibbs and his father Sonny Wilcox. Boyd is survived by his son Paul A. Ewing and daughter Tammy Ewing Arnette. Brothers; Richard Grimes and wife Angela, Brain Wilcox. Sister Pamela Wilcox, six grandkids; Christian, David, Nick, Andrew, Justin and Chloe. The family will receive friends at Whitley's Funeral Home from 2:00 to 4:00 Saturday, October 6th.
