Obituary: Bradford "Mark" Bradley, 67, of Kannapolis went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from Tucker Hospice House after a quick battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel at 4:00 PM Wednesday, February 25 with Rev. Joel Ervin officiating. The family will receive friends at Whitley's Funeral home from 3:00 to 4:00 PM Wednesday, prior to the funeral. Burial will follow at the National Cemetery in Salisbury on Thursday, February 26. Mark was born January 1, 1948 in Spartanburg Co. SC, the son of the late Clarence "Brad" and Martha Sue Dempsey Bradley. He was a longtime area resident and member of Eastwood Baptist Church. Mark worked as a designer for Packaging Services of Carolina until retiring on disability in the early 90's. He loved NASCAR, guitars, drawing and his pet dogs. Mark played anything he heard, by ear and used any art medium to create whatever he wanted. Mark was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 48 years, Peggy Ann Burris Bradley of the home, his "daughter" Drue Lana Bradley of the home, 2 sons, Marc R. S. Bradley of Kannapolis and Derek Lennon Bradley of Concord, 5 grandchildren; Tyra, Hunter, Talon, Karma and Devon and he was looking forward to the birth of his 6th grandchild in August.
