Brenda was born August 29, 1943, to the late Ralph C. and Donnie Easley Beaver. In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her younger sister, Maxine Beaver.
She is survived by her husband, James Baker; her twin sister, Linda Gulledge of China Grove; brother, Roy Beaver of China Grove; and her nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own, including LuAnn Gulledge Baxter, Cody Baxter, and Allyson Baxter, in addition to Marsha Beaver Martin, Chris Bruce, Sandy Beaver King, Travis Bruce, and their spouses, children and grandchildren.
A lifelong area resident, Brenda was a graduate of South Rowan High School. She worked for many years as a weaver for Cannon Mills in Plant 1 #6 Weave Room. Later, she worked in the laundry department for Five Oaks Nursing Home.
Brenda was a longtime member of Bethel Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed word searches, crocheting, and riding around town. Brenda loved spending time with her nieces and nephews, playing with them, telling them stories, and taking them to the Buffalo Ranch.
She made a huge impact on everyone around her. She was known to be silly, loving, and the “Good Twin”. To know her was to love her. She will be deeply missed.
