Brenda Gail (Scott) Crosby

Brenda Gail Scott Crosby, age 60, of Salisbury passed away on June 1, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus after a long period of declining health. A private family service will be held.

Brenda  was born May 5, 1961 in Fayetteville NC, a daughter of the late Bruce Dalton Scott and Mrs. Geraldine Anderson Whitley of Rockwell. In addition to her father, Brenda was preceded in death by her stepfather, Roger Whitley, as well as 2 grandnieces/nephews.

Brenda moved here with her family in 1966. She worked various jobs locally as an adult until her health began to decline. She will be remembered for enjoyment of cleaning, gardening and a good cup of coffee. Brenda really loved and was loved by her family and will be dearly missed.

In addition to her mother, Brenda is survived by her husband of 36 years, Jeff Crosby of the family home, her daughter, Crystal Gail Cross of Kannapolis, her sons; David Bradford Cross of the home and John Crosby (Teia Sneed) of Rockwell, her stepchildren Jeffrey Lee Crosby, Jr. and Nichole Crosby, her 4 grandchildren; Gretchen Benfield, Jaden Crosby, Paisley Lingerfelt and Aurora Crosby, her sister Yvonne Stanford of Salisbury, her brothers; Buddy, Howard and Randall Scott of Rockwell and Kenneth Scott (Marilyn) of Kannapolis as well as many nieces and nephews.
