Brenda Kay (Shaver) Daniel

Brenda S. Daniel, 82 of Kannapolis went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, December 30, 2023. Brenda was born January 31, 1941, in Iredell County, to the late Harold William Shaver and the late Mae Hamby Shaver.

Growing up as a child Brenda loved spending time with her grandparents in the mountains.

And as an adult she loved her family, and also enjoyed cross stitching and listening to music.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Eric S. Daniel.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 65 years Johnny L. Daniel, daughter, Lori D. Grimes and her husband Steve, grandchildren Matthew R. Grimes and wife Kathie, Dustin R. Grimes and his wife Jenny, and Joshua Grimes, great grandchildren Nolan Wynn Grimes, Baily Nicole Grimes, Caleb Grimes and Jackson Levi Grimes and one brother, Donald W. Shaver

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 4, 2024, from 12:00 - 1:00 pm at Whitley's Funeral Home 1748 Dale Earnhardt Blvd, Kannapolis, NC  28083, with a Celebration of her Life Service beginning at 1:00 PM in the Chapel, with Doug Russell officiating.   Inurnment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park.
