Brenda Pruitt Lazenby

Obituary: Brenda Pruitt Lazenby, 70, of Concord, NC died at CHCS-NE in Concord on May 19, 2015. Brenda was born on September 21, 1944 in Mecklenburg Co., NC the daughter of the late Everett Marion Pruitt and Margaret Sarah Baldwin Pruitt. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by siblings, Jim Pruitt and Doris Anderson. Brenda dearly loved her grandchildren and adored her great grandchildren. She was a former member of Midway Methodist Church in Kannapolis and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W. She had worked for Robertson Optic's. Survivors include her husband, James A. Lazenby of the home, daughter, Lisa Seagraves, 3 grandchildren; Jennifer Seagraves, Dylan Seagraves and Tyler Seagraves and 3 great grandchildren; Gabriella Michaelson, Abigail Clontz and Aiden Seagraves. The service for Mrs. Lazenby will take place at 2:30 p.m., Friday, May 22, 2015 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Sunset Memory Garden in Mint Hill, NC.
