Brian Todd Campbell

Obituary: Brian Todd Campbell, 43, passed away Monday, January 13, 2014 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Campbell was born December 28, 1970 in Cabarrus County to Ronnie Lavon Campbell and Suzanne Bostian Rainwater. He served in the U.S. Marines from 1989 to 1993; worked as a production planner at Ingersoll-Rand; he was a loving husband and father always being involved with the kids; Brian always was laughing and joking enjoying the fact he was making people smile. Survivors include his wife, LuAnn Campbell of the home; a son, Damian Chance Campbell; a daughter, Alyssa Brianne Campbell (Daddy's Little Princess); father and step-mother, Ronnie and Alice Campbell of Gainesville, GA; mother and step-father, Suzanne and Bennie Rainwater of Landis; brother, Marc L. Campbell (Angie) of Cornelia, GA; and a sister, Marla Thompson (Ronnie); and a niece, Jamie Thompson all of China Grove. A funeral service will be held 4:00 P.M. Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Pauley and Rev. Shane Utley officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday evening at Whitley's Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Campbell Children's College Fund C/O the Bank of the Carolinas in Landis, NC 105 N.
