Brian Avery Morrow

Obituary: Brian Avery Morrow, age 52, left his earthly home in Concord on Friday, October 8, 2010 to be with his Heavenly Father after a period of declining health. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 Monday, October 11 at New Life Baptist Church on Biscayne Dr., Concord, with Rev. Tommy Steele officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. His family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday, October 10 at Whitley's Funeral Home, at other times the family will be at the home. Brian was born April 22, 1958 in Cabarrus Co. NC to the late Mr. Robert Eugene Holleman and Mrs. Vera Donahue Dudley of Kannapolis. He was a life-long area resident and 1976 graduate of North West Cabarrus High School. He was employed with Great Dane Trailers in Charlotte as manager of the Parts Dept. Brian loved to read and he loved to play football and watch football. He was a big NC State Fan and red was his favourite color. The family requests everyone who plans to attend the funeral to wear red to show their support. Brian was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed. In addition to his mother; he is survived by his wife of 26 years, Ann Outlaw Morrow and Son, Chris Morrow, both of the family home and three daughters; Elaine Eagle (Rick) and Gwen Eagle (Zack) both of Salisbury, and Tiffany Farmer (Aaron) of Kannapolis. He is also survived by his sister, Deborah Barnes of Raleigh and his mother-in-law, Margie Cook of Concord, 7 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and a multitude of friends.
