Bruce Wilson Davis, 59, of Concord, passed away Monday evening, April 26, 2021, at Tucker Hospice House.
Born May 29,1961, in Mecklenburg County, he was the son of the late Dossie and Carol Wilson Davis.
Bruce had been a proud and loyal member of the International Brotherhood of Electric Workers (IBEW Local Union 379) for 40 years. He was employed with Preferred Electric for more than 20 years, and considered his co workers his family. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed sharing his excursions with his loved ones. Bruce loved to laugh and joke with family and friends, always putting others before himself while looking for ways to make them smile. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him, until that wonderful meeting again, in Heaven.
Loving family members include his devoted wife, Beverly Edwards Davis; his step sons, Jonathan Hill and John Rukavina; brothers and sisters-in-law, George and Karen Edwards and Roy, Jr. and Linda Bishop; his beloved dogs, Gizmo and Cotton; and much loved, close family members and friends, Max and Adele Hawks, Dale and June Hawks, Larry Hawks, Betty Ruth Brumley, Ginny Peangtelli, Michael Woods-Cox, and Tonya and Charlie Smith.
The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 pm Friday, April 30th at Whitley’s Funeral Home, 1748 Dale Earnhardt Blvd, Kannapolis, NC 28083. Services to remember, to celebrate and to give thanks for Bruce’s life will begin at 6:00 pm in the funeral home chapel, conducted by Jim Snell.
