Bryan Javier Ascencion

Bryan Javier Ascencion, 28 years old, passed away on January 11, 2022.  Bryan was born on February 27, 1993 to Ponciano Ascencion and Dawn Britt Dancy.

Bryan was a family man who enjoyed playing video games with his daughter.  He loved Batman, skateboarding, cars, going to car shows, and all sports, but was an avid Carolina Panthers Fan.

Bryan is survived by his father Ponciano Ascencion; his mother, Dawn Britt Dancy and his step-father Erick Dancy; his fiancé, Courtney Pope; his daughters, Mia Ascencion and Tiara Alston; his sisters, Sara Escobar Ascencion and her husband Wilson and Carmen Ascencion and her fiancé Justin Encarnacion and his brother, Scott Ascencion.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.  A funeral service celebrating Bryan’s life will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 1pm in the Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove.
