Byron Miller

Byron Miller, 77, of Mooresville, passed away Friday, December 13, 2024 at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte.

He was born June 2, 1947 in Maryland to the late Byron Headley Miller and Charlotte Mullineaux Miller.

Byron was a firefighter for over 25 years, he was a Vietnam veteran serving in the U.S. Army and a Purple Heart recipient. He enjoyed grilling, working in the yard, and a good drink. He was a loving husband, father, stepfather and grandfather, he will be dearly missed.

Those left to cherish his memory, his wife Donna Miller, daughter, Lesley Forrest, son, Brandon Miller, stepchildren, Nicky Nilson, Michael Kehr, sister, Karlene Adams, eight grandchildren and nieces and nephews survive.

A graveside service will be held at a later date at Salisbury National Cemetery, with military rites.
