Caleb Harding

Obituary: Caleb James Harding, 25, of Harrisburg went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 7, 2014. He was born September 4, 1988 in Mecklenburg County. He was dearly loved by his family and friends. Caleb had a tender soul, a big heart and was a loving child of God. Caleb was a 2007 graduate of J.M. Robinson High School. He attended UNCC where he was working on a mechanical engineering degree. Caleb enjoyed martial arts and held several black belts. He was also an avid hunter. He was a gifted artist and a very talented young man who will be greatly missed by his family. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, Feb. 10th at Whitley's Funeral Home Annex Chapel in Kannapolis officiated by Rev. Terrell Long. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from1:30 to 2:00 PM prior to services. He was preceded in death by his late grandparents, Derwood and Gail Bost. He is survived by his mother, Deborah Bost Walker and husband, John, his father, James (Jim) Harding, Jr. and wife Teal, step brothers; Byrnes and Wade Britton and his grandparents, Fred and Inez Harrington, Memorials may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Suite 102, 205 Regency Executive Park Dr, Charlotte, NC 28217.
