Calista Sharee Love

Obituary: Calista Sharee McManus Love, 33, of Concord passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013 at the Bob and Carolyn Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. She was born on March 23, 1979 in Cabarrus County, the daughter of Roger McManus of Mooresville and Tammy Anderson McManus Weaver of Kannapolis. She was employed with DaVita Dialysis for 11 years. Calista loved animals, especially her cat, Simba and her sissy, Cuddles. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and granddaughter that was full of life and always had a smile on her face. Calista touched the lives of everyone she met and dearly loved all of her family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 at North Kannapolis Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Joe Harding. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday at Whitley's Funeral Home. She is survived by her husband, James Vincient "Vinnie" Love Jr, her daughter Savannah Rose Love, her mother Tammy A. Weaver (Jeff) of Kannapolis, her father Roger McManus of Mooresville, grandparents, Marie Anderson of Kannapolis and Mary Watson of Kannapolis, mother-in-law, Rhoda J. Love of Mt. Pleasant, father-in-law James V. Love Sr. (Pat) of Charlotte, a dear uncle and aunt, Toby and Susan Anderson, aunt Leanne Stokes (David), cousins Lt. Garrett Anderson, US Army, and Corey Anderson of Charlotte, her God mother, Tina Leben, God sisters, Tammy Barrier and Anna Leben and God Brother, Bubba Renken. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Donald E. Anderson, great-grandmothers, Ruby Severt, Hazel Leonard, Margaret Steen, aunt Glenda James, uncle Dennis McManus and a dear great-uncle J.M. Gee. The family would like to give specials thanks to Dr. George Engstrom for his love and care of Calista through the years, all of her wonderful co-workers at DaVita Dialysis during her illness and to the entire staff at the Tucker Hospice House for their love and care shown Calista and her family. The family would also like to thank the office employees of the Charlotte Motor Speedway Ticket Office and to Vickie and Wayne Morris.
