Camilla Howard

Obituary: Camilla Ruth Howard, 89, of Concord passed peacefully in her sleep after a two week illness on December 1st 2015. Services will be at 11am Saturday December 12th at Centerview Baptist Church in Kannapolis, NC where she was a member. The Revs. Willie Rash and Sandy Yow will officiate. Burial will follow in the Carolina Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at 10am prior to the funeral service at Camilla's church. Born October 19, 1926 in Rowan County, she was the daughter of Kate Rusher and Joe Ritchie. She worked in Cannon Mills as an inspector in the pillow case department for over 40 years. She was a graduate of Granite Quarry High School in Rowan County. Her survivors include her two granddaughters Carlie Peters, and Kelsey Jo Howard.
