Canova Rosetta Bunch Maulden Allen

Obituary: Kannapolis - Canova Rosetta "Bunch" Maulden Allen, 95, formerly of Horton Ave. Kannapolis died Monday April 20, 2009 at CMC NorthEast. She was born June 27, 1913 in Cabarrus County the daughter of the late Charles Edward Maulden and Sara Frances Isabelle Smith Maulden. She was also preceded in death by her husband Otis Lee "Hap" Allen in 1994. She had retired from Cannon Mills Co Plant 1 Sewing Room. She was a member of Brookdale Baptist Church. A graveside service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday April 22, 2009 at Carolina Memorial Park officiated by Rev. Doug Pierce. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM at Whitley's Funeral Home. She is survived by a daughter Joyce Allen Talbert and husband Basil of Kannapolis, a son Vernon Lee Allen and wife Flo of Rockwell, 3 grandchildren: Susan Gamez and husband Steve and their children Zachary and Matthew, David K. Talbert and wife Beth and their children Samantha and Nicholas, and Shelley Dean Allen. Memorials may be made to Brookdale Baptist Church 2511 South Ridge Ave. Kannapolis, NC 28083
