Carl Junious Rogers

Kannapolis

Carl Junious Rogers, 79, of Kannapolis, went into his heavenly home on Thursday, May 12, 2022 after a long-time battle with cancer.

Carl was born on September 15, 1942 in Cabarrus County to the late Homer Banks Rogers and Mary Elizabeth Scercy Rogers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Margaret Ann Elwood Rogers; son, Dirk Lee Rogers, and eleven of his siblings.

Carl spent his career as a truck driver for Moss Supply for over 35 years. He loved spending time outside gardening and going fishing. He had a special place in his heart for animals and had many beloved pets over the years. Most of all, he had a big heart for his family and dearly loved them.

Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of twelve years, Corine Rogers; three children, Debbie London, Jeff Rogers, and Jerry Rogers; step-son, David (Anna) Jones; brother, Kenneth (Betty Jean) Rogers; one grandchild, two great-grandchildren, two step-grandsons and four step-granddaughters.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. on Monday, May 16, 2022. A graveside service will follow and begin at 12:00 noon on Monday, May 16, 2022 at Carolina Memorial Park with Rev. Gillon Jones officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Carl’s memory may be made to Big Elm Nursing Center, 1285 West A Street, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
