Carlene Opal Davis Jordan

Obituary: CHARLOTTE Carlene Davis Jordan, 77, from Charlotte, died Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Windsor Point in Fuquay-Varina, NC. She was born December 27, 1935 in Davidson County, NC, the daughter of Susie Jane (Jean) Wagoner Davis and the late Steave Davis. She was a Title/Warranty Clerk for Gowen Oldsmobile from the age of 16 until her retirement. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Davis Joynes. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Jordan is survived by her husband, James Elwood Jordan; whom she married September 6, 1958; son, James Timothy Jordan and wife Caroline of Fuquay-Varina; brother, Bob Davis (Judy) of Landis; sister, Patti Hartness (Randy) of China Grove; two granddaughters, Madison and Abby Jordan of Fuquay-Varina; many nieces and nephews. Visitation and Service: The funeral service will be held at 12:30pm Saturday, November 23 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Dr. James Strickland. Burial will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:30am until 12:30pm before the funeral service.
