Carol Daniel Hinson

Obituary: Carol Daniel Hinson, 82, of China Grove died Monday, March 11, 2019 at her home after a period of declining health. Her funeral will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 13 at Eastwood Baptist Church with Rev. Randall Ritchie officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the funeral. Carol was born November 30, 1936 in Cabarrus Co., a daughter of the late William Roy Daniel and Hessie "Mozelle" Childers Daniel. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Hinson and her sister, Betty Barnhardt. Carol was a longtime member of Eastwood Baptist, serving as treasurer and organist for many years. She also was retired from working at Cannon Mills as an executive assistant in Plant #1. Carol is survived by her son, Ricky Hinson (Michael) of Huntersville, her daughter, Julie Hunsucker of the family home, her grandchildren, Daniel Huneycutt (Morgan), Miranda Lambert (Chris), Nathaniel Hunsucker and Tabitha Moody (Nathan), her great-grandchildren, Malachi, Ezekiel, Moriah, Elam, Bryson, Gabriel, Alexzander, Aubri, Ivy and Mark. Carol was also survived by 3 brothers Johnny Daniel (Brenda), Ronald Daniel and Wayne Daniel, all of Kannapolis. Online condolences may be left at www.whitleysfuneralhome.com.
