Carol Morrison

Obituary: Carol Marilyn Morrison, 72, of Kannapolis; formerly of Mooresville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at her residence following a period of declining health. She was born December 16, 1941 in Iredell County, NC a daughter of the late Robert Lee Morrison Sr., and the late Adele Callaway Morrison. Carol was a 1961 graduate of Landis High School. She loved cooking and crocheting. Carol was a homemaker and was a loving mother and grandmother. Survivors include two daughters, Robyn McVay (Jack Grubb) of Kannapolis, Ria Totterdell (Alexander) of Edinburgh, Scotland, one grandchild, Blake McVay of Kannapolis and brother, Robert Leigh Morrison, Jr. ( Pat) of Mooreville. A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 15, 2014 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Chris O'Guin. The family request that in Lieu of flowers memorials be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
