Carol Sue Price Seamon

Obituary: Carol Sue Price Seamon, 78, of Kannapolis, NC died on August 18, 2014 at her home. Mrs. Seamon was born on June 5, 1939 in Cabarrus Co., the daughter of the late Boyd Fletcher Price and the late Bettie Lorene Pennell Price. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Grimsley Seamon who died in 1975. Carol was the strength and focal point of her family. She was loved dearly by her children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren. Carol recently retired from RiteAid with 33 years of service. She was a loyal and dedicated employee that enjoyed serving the public and made life-long friendships along the way. The service for Mrs. Seamon will be held at 7p.m., Tuesday, August 19, at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Tony Wagoner. The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:00p.m. Tuesday before the service at Whitley's. Survivors include her son, Mark Seamon and wife, Crystal; her 2 daughters, Kay Seamon of King, NC, Diana Seifts of Boone, NC; 5 grandchildren, John Campbell, III, Jessica Campbell, Ashley Corn, Savannah Seamon and Alex Seamon; 4 great-grandchildren, Shandon Cruse, Nykayla Cruse, Daven Cruse and Caiden Seamon; 2 sisters, Linda Clanton and Shirley Moss and her loyal companion, "Lita".
