Obituary: Carol Sechler Wright, 76, of Landis died Saturday, March 9, 2013 at CMC-NE Concord after a brief illness. A graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery in China Grove at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, March 12 with Rev. Lane Sapp and Rev. Dallas Prestwood officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside service. Carol was born December 25, 1936 in Rowan Co., the daughter of the late N.A. and Ruth Eudy Sechler. She was a life-long area resident. Carol enjoyed participating in church Music programs in the area, caring for endangered wildlife and her pets at home. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents Carol was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Fabrizio. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Joe A. wright, Jr. of Landis, her son, Joe A. Wright III of GA, her daughter, Rameth McKnight (Carl) of Lexington NC and 3 grandchildren; Jo Amber Baumgarner (Josh) of Hickory and Seth and Lily McKnight.
