Carolyn Reece Goldston

Carolyn Reece Goldston, 88, of Kannapolis passed away April 29, 2020 at her home. She was born September 19, 1931 in Cabarrus County, a daughter of the late Ray Reece and Josie Lindsey Reece. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Goldston on September 25,  2002.

She had worked at Cannon Mills in her earlier years but was a home maker for most of her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, May 1, 2020 at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Dr. Tom Cabaniss.  Her family will receive friends from 10 to 11 prior to the service. Interment services will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.

She is survived by her daughter, Sally Blalock (Jack), son, Mark Goldston (Genia), grandchildren, Katie Stamey (Chris), Crystal Blalock Deel (Markus), Ashley Goldston Elkins (Kevin), Eric Goldston great grandchildren, Carolyn Danielle Stamey, Christopher Jason Stamey Jr., Carrigan Jo Stamey, Carter Grayson Stamey, Nora Katherine Deel and sister, Pat Efird.
