Obituary: Carolyn Sue Howard Johnson, 63, of 2750 Miami Church Road, Concord died Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at her home. Death was unexpected. Carolyn was born on April 25, 1947 in Mecklenburg County, the daughter of Marion Lee Howard Wells of Greenwood, SC and the late Calvin Lewis Howard. Carolyn was a homemaker and in earlier years worked as a florist. In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son, Tony R. Reaves and his wife, Kim of Salisbury and a daughter, Deborah Lynn Maybin of Black Mt., NC. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 2 sisters and 1 brother. The funeral service will take place at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 22, at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Donald Davis. The family will receive friends from 10:30 until the service.
