Carolyn E. Norris

Carolyn E. Norris, 88, of Kannapolis, passed away Thursday evening, September 19, 2024, at Salisbury Rehabilitation and Nursing of Salisbury.

Born December 15, 1935, in Cabarrus County, she was the daughter of the late Grace Tanner Jackson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur “Bill” Norris Jr. and her sons, Wilbur “Billy” Norris, III and Danny Henry Norris.

Carolyn had earlier honorably served her country with the US Air Force. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Kannapolis. Mrs. Norris was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and wonderful homemaker most of her life. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.

Family members include her daughter-in-law, Sheila Norris; her grandsons, Jeremiah Norris (Emily) and Joshua Norris; and her great-grandchildren, Brigham Tate Norris, Veyda Marie-Kate Norris, Braylon “Bainx” Norris and Kampton Aimes Norris.

A private burial memorial service will take place later.
