Carroll David Bristol, 74, of Kannapolis passed away March 3, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus. He was born May 8, 1946 in Hampton, Tennessee, a son of the late George Washington Bristol and Mary Magdalene Roberts Bristol. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Bristol and a daughter, Tammy Braswell.

David had worked as a carpenter for Liles Construction for many years. He was a member of Piedmont Baptist Church. David enjoyed woodworking, painting, fishing, camping and motorcycles. He was the first president of the Ghost Riders Motorcycle Club in Tennessee.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, March 8, 2021 at Piedmont Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Mike Edwards. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. His family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 PM prior at church.

David is survived by his children, Sandy Yvonne Storey and Aron Wayne Bristol, step children, Chuck Smith, Tim Smith, Danny Smith, James Smith, grandson, Raven Lee Bristol who lived and cared for him, as well as many other grandchildren and greatgrandchildren he loved, sisters, Bessie Vanover, Ella Jay Penlly and Edna Bristol.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Shriners Hospitals in David’s Name.
