Charles David Brown

Obituary: Charles David Brown, 71, passed from death into eternal life Saturday, February 23, 2013. Charles was born April 22, 1941 in Cabarrus County to the late Charlie Steven Brown and Kathleen Brown Castor. He worked for Fieldcrest Cannon Mills for many years and did land surveying. He was also a member of Kannapolis Church of God. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Barbara H. Brown; children, Charlea B. Safrit (Greg), Davia B. Digiuseppe (Mike), and David A. Brown (Cynthia); and four grandchildren, Hannah Safrit, Samuel Safrit, Andrew Safrit, and Tristan Wright. A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at the Kannapolis Church of God with the Rev. Sam Crisp officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be private.
