Obituary: China Grove, NC Mr. Charles Hall, 62, 0f 148 Brewer Lane, China Grove died Friday, May 27, 2001 at CMC-Northeast Medical Center, Concord following a period of declining health. He was born June 24, 1948 in Darlington County, S.C. a son of the late Willis and Elsie Lee Atkinson Hall. Charles had lived in the China Grove area for the last 48 years. In early life he was employed in textiles and construction and later sold produce. Charles was an avid NASCAR and Carolina Panthers fan and also enjoyed wrestling. He was of the Baptist faith. Graveside Services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, June 2, 2011 at West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove conducted by Rev. Robert Thomas and Rev. John Fowler. The family will speak with friends following the graveside service. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Hall, on February 26, 2000, a son, Charles Franklin Hall and a brother, Otis Hall. He is survived by one daughter: Marie (Wayne) Cook of Salisbury, three sons: Terry (Shelia) Frizzelle and Larry (Diane) Frizzelle both of Easley, SC .and Mac Frizzelle of China Grove, NC. He is also survived by one sister: Janell (Hazel) Wright of McBee, SC, two brothers: Grady (Kathleen) Hall of McBee, SC and Eddie (Lorraine) Hall of Hartsville, SC. A step-brother: Eddie Lee Hall of Hartsville, SC and 10 Grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Whitley's Funeral Home is serving the family of Mr. Hall.
