Obituary: Kannapolis, NC Charles Lynn "Butch" Kyle, 57, of Kannapolis died unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, June 2, 2012. Butch was born December 20, 1954 in Fairfax, VA, the son of the late Charles Leroy Kyle and Mrs. Beatrice Blodgett Mast of Howe, IN. He was a veteran of the US Navy, long-time area resident and formerly employed with Toter Inc. of Statesville. He loved music and art. Butch was a loving and caring husband, father and selfless friend to everyone he met. He will be deeply missed. In addition to his father he was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Melvin Mast. Survivors include his mother, his wife, Kimberly Kale Kyle of Concord, his son, Landon Kyle and wife, Amanda, of Landis, his daughter, Megan Kyle of Kannapolis, his sister, Lisa Hernley and husband, Jeff, of Goshen IN and many beloved nieces and nephews.
