Charles Howard Lee

Obituary: Charles Howard Lee, 69,of Concord died Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at his residence. He had been under a doctor's care. Mr. Lee was born on December 24, 1941 in Lackawanna County, PA., the son of the late William Howard and Ada Jane Simpson Lee. He was employed by IBM as a mechanical designer moving to the Concord area in 1979. Following his retirement from IBM in 1995 Mr. Lee was employed by Matissa Corp. in Charlotte. He was a member of Mt. Mitchell United Methodist Church and served in the United States Air Force.Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Sunday July 31,2011 at Whitley's Funeral Home Annex Chapel with Rev. Mary Hatley Officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM Sunday prior to services.Mr. Lee is survived by his wife Ann Marie Sterner Lee, a son; Mark W.
