Cheryl Suzanne Dayvault

Obituary: Cheryl Suzanne Beaver Dayvault, 63 of Landis passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at CMC-Northeast in Concord. Her death was unexpected. Ms. Dayvault was born in Cabarrus County on March 25, 1950 the daughter of Willie B. Beaver Sr., and Faynell Campbell Beaver of Landis. She was a 1968 graduate of South Rowan High School. She was formerly employed by Fieldcrest Cannon. Following the closing of Fieldcrest Cannon, Cheryl earned her associate degree in early childhood development and was currently employed by Preschool of the Arts of Kannapolis. She was of the Baptist faith and grew up in Landis Baptist Church. Cheryl loved her family and many friends but her grandchildren were special to her and she will be sadly missed. Services to celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2014, at 2:00 PM at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel with Rev. Dorland Abernathy officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in China Grove. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the services. At other times the family will be at the daughter's residence. In addition to her parents she is survived by her daughter; Wendy Johnson and husband James of Rockwell, grandchildren; Kamden and Avery, a special nephew; Nicholas Beaver and brothers; Kenny Beaver and wife Angela of Kannapolis, and Willie (Skeet) Beaver Jr. of China Grove.
