Cheryl Conley Ribas

Obituary: We are saddened to share the loss of a truly great and lovely lady, Cheryl Conley Ribas. She died peacefully in her sleep early Saturday morning. Cheryl was a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, aunt, and friend to so many. Her heart touched us with her sweetness, caring nature and subtle humor. Her spirit lives in all who knew and loved her. She was born in Providence, RI, October 12, 1951, the daughter of Janice Kleppinger Conley and the late George William Conley, Jr. She leaves her husband, Bruce Ribas; daughter, Melinda Palumbo; son-in-law, Matthew Palumbo, and grandson, Matthew Palumbo, Jr; sisters, Randi Upham and Melissa Hirschberg; and brother, Rick Conley. Her loved ones also include many nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends. Her husband always called her his "dearest wonder" and she was all that and so much more. A private service will be held for her family and close friends.
