Chevy James Petrea

Chevy James Petrea, 6 years old went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 10, 2022.  Chevy was born on August 11, 2015 in Concord to James and Kristina Keating Petrea.

Chevy loved his younger siblings who he called “Bubba & Sissy”.  He was artistic and loved music.  He loved being outside fishing and riding on his ATV, and also loved Pokemon and Baby Yoda.

Chevy was predeceased in death by his grandmother, Susan “Susie” Keating.  Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, James and Kristina Keating Petrea; his brother, Harlan Maks Petrea; his sister, Salem Jade Petrea; his maternal grandparents, Thomas “Papa” Keating and his wife Sharon “Tinney”; his paternal grandparents, John “Papa” Petrea and his wife Marti “Memaw”, Teresa “Nay Nay” Miller and her husband Paul “Pop Pop”.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 16th, from 12-2pm at Whitley’s Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 2pm in the Whitey’s Funeral Home Chapel.  Entombment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis.
