Chris Randall Ferrier

Obituary: Chris Randall Ferrier "Hero", 56, of Kannapolis, passed away, Saturday, October 31, 2015 at CMC Main in Charlotte of an aortic aneurism. He was born October 7, 1959 in Cabarrus Co. to the late George Thomas Ferrier and Phyllis Ann Kluttz Ferrier. Chris attended Concord High School, and worked in Facilities Maintenance for Cabarrus Co. Schools for 12 years. He was a member of Anson Co. Hunt Club. Chris loved spending time with family especially his grandson, he also enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and also a nephew Bradley Ferrier. Chris is survived by his wife, Shelia Corriher Ferrier, step-daughter Christy Hendley (Lynn); brother, Michael Thomas Ferrier, sister, Sherry Ferrier Smith, grandson Carter Hendley. Also surviving a nephew Joshua Randall Ferrier (Tonya) and a niece Ashley Allmon (Chad). A visitation will be held Wednesday from 12-2 PM (Nov 4) at Whitley's Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow Wednesday at 2 PM at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tom Whidden. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
