Christie Diane (Chavis) Davis

Christie Diane Chavis Davis, 69, of Kannapolis, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at her residence.

Christie was born on February 13, 1954 in Cabarrus County. She was a cherished daughter of the late Foster Chavis and Eloise Snipes Chavis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Janice Chavis Beaver, Nancy Chavis Butler, Patricia Chavis Stewart, and Mary Chavis Kendall; and brothers, Sandy Chavis and Mike Chavis.

Christie loved being outdoors. It filled her heart with joy to go camping and fishing with her family. She loved watching old Western movies and crocheting. She was a kind and gentle lady that will be dearly missed.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Ricky James Davis Sr., son, Troy Clayton Broadway Jr., grandchildren, Timothy Broadway and Sabrina Broadway; and sister, Linda Chavis.
