Obituary: Christina Milem Baxter, 32, of Mt. Ulla, died Saturday, August 6, 2011 unexpectedly at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center in Mooresville. She was born May 24, 1979 in Cabarrus County, the daughter of Raymond and Denise Harkey Milem of Landis.She was a 1997 graduate of South Rowan High School. She was employed with Corrine's Restaurant in Mooresville. She loved spending time with her family and friends.Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Thursday, August 11, 2011at South China Grove Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Shane Utley. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 at the church.In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Keith Baxter, two daughters Alexis Marie Baxter and Katie Ann Baxter of the home, two sisters Kimberly Evans of Troutman and Jennifer Milem of Landis, and her father in-law and mother in-law, Sonny and Karen Baxter of Mooresville. The family request any memorials be made to South China Grove Baptist Church, 501 Haney Street, China Grove, NC 28023 or to the family to help with expenses.
